I have been visually exploring life’s moments ever since my mother gave me my first camera at the age of nine. It seems as though I have always had a camera in my hands; be it a professional piece of equipment, a point and shoot or a disposable camera. Having the opportunity to shoot for many clients over the years with various needs has given me a chance to discover that unique angle; always with the desire to not just deliver a photo, but to tell a story with that image. I began to seek education for my art in elementary school by joining the Photography Club. In high school I continued my interest in learning how to better my talent by taking night classes in photography. In 1997 I graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography eager to put my talent and knowledge to work.
I enjoy freezing in time the beauty and harshness of Mother Nature as well as bringing forth the personalities of people in my photos. I enjoy getting to know my clients so that I may capture those special moments unique to each person, couple or family. Whether I am photographing a family portrait, a budding flower or
our sons, I am enjoying every moment; every click of the camera.
I truly love supplying professional quality photos for a reasonable price because I feel that everyone should have gorgeous photos. I work out of my home so that I can keep costs down not to mention being able to take care of my family. While our sons are in school or after they are in bed I enjoy going through each photo from my shoots and ensuring that the quality of the lighting and colors are up to my high standards. Although I am a one-woman-show, I am able to capture all of your special moments. I aim to have a wedding client's photos edited and in their hands in six to eight weeks but it can sometimes take a little longer; but I assure you they are more than worth the wait.
Please take a few moments to explore my portfolios for samples of my work of special events, people, places, and band photography. Please feel free to reach me through the contact link at the top of the page. Thank you! ~Nolyn
